What we do
LifeLine is one of the oldest not-for-profit counselling organisations in Papua New Guinea providing emotional support and addressing social issues that have confronted people of Papua New Guinea. LifeLine has one centre and is located next to the largest established settlement areas in the city which has a population of around 50,000 people.
LifeLine is the primary based community based community service for women experiencing violence in the PNG community but does not receive funding. PNG communities currently face significant challenges and there is widespread concern about how people have coped during the pandemic and how they understand the goal of living with COVID-19.
